The daughter of a Cretan fisherman, Marianna grew up surrounded by the flavors of the Aegean. She went on to become head chef at London’s Moro and co-founded its sister restaurant, Morito.

Blending Cretan tradition with Mediterranean influences, her cooking is bold, seasonal, and full of character. A storyteller at heart, her cookbook Aegean captures the essence of island life.
