Exciting news – we’ve been featured in the latest issue of  Big Furniture Group Magazine along with some members of our incredible community of makers!

Just like Lynnette, here, from  DEMAND Design & Manufacture for Disability who are advocates for good design for disability, the creation of products that are easy to use and suit the needs of people with varying abilities. The DEMAND team believe the best way to encourage good design for disability is by educating and influencing the designers and engineers of tomorrow.

Their work includes the 'freasel' - the world's most adjustable art easel, accessible from any position. And the 'shell chair' which is a sensory sanctuary offering safer stimming for children and adults with sensory processing disorders.

Another one of our featured members is DWC Carpentry, a dynamic duo comprised of David and Billy Chamberlain. This father and son team represents the fourth and fifth generations from a lineage of carpenters stretching back over a century. Based in Stoke Newington, they specialise in a variety of carpentry and joinery projects.

Their work ranges from full bespoke wardrobes, bookcases, and entertainment media units to general carpentry projects.

Their dedication to their craft and their ability to combine traditional skills with modern techniques is truly inspiring.
