An ethos that BLOQS wholeheartedly shares
At BLOQS, we're revolutionising co-working by providing a shared manufacturing space filled with state-of-the-art equipment, promoting both economic and environmental sustainability.
Our London-based facility allows entrepreneurs to access specialised tools without the high costs of individual investment. In the conversation with Smiley Movement, co-founder Al Parra highlights that sharing these resources reduces overheads and ensures everyone has the right tools for their projects.
Our model significantly lowers energy consumption and land use compared to individual workshops. Like sharing a neighbourhood vacuum cleaner, the collective approach saves energy and costs.
This shared economy model aligns with other sustainable practices, reducing the need for new materials and minimising our environmental footprint. Environmental efficiency is a cornerstone of BLOQS. We convert waste wood into energy through our biomass boiler and generate a third of our electricity needs with solar panels.
